NSU Ro 80 [FDF]

This NSU Ro 80 (1977) was parked across the pond which I cross on my regular dog walk. Dark blue plates on a car means they are oldtimers, and therefor always interesting for me to draw.

When I draw l, I try to not lookup the plate number beforehand and search for it’s make and model. It is neat to fantasize about the year it is built and it’s history when my pen hatches mindfully over the paper.

After drawing and hatching which I tried to do more consistently, I used my portable Picasso travel brush and a light wash of the Windsor and Newton Cotman paint kit. It was done at the relative comfort of my desk, but I like to have an equal experience to urban sketching.
