I am trying to follow some tutorials about color and how to make them more hamonic and “pop”. This is an ongoing process as they still look flat. I do know I get impatient and apply watercolor on too wet areas, or do not look at the colors I want to mix.
This is done in the later hours with lots of obligations I am not going to be picky, but will keep on trying to finally make nice landscapes with lots of depth in it.
I do like to invest in a caligraphy dip pen for the lines, or a fine tip fountain pen with waterproof ink, as I just fell in love with the way the lines look in this tutorial. It is nothing like a Micron marker, the lines look too even (which is not a bad thing) but when you want to go for playfulness, then that is harder to accomplish.
