398. Tavern – Bathroom Key

I feel this will become a a second Inktober, and I am both excited and worried. It’s Dungeonsdrawingdudes challenge this month. This is a monthly theme and started on Instagram. We’re jumping in at day two. DnD art is not my style, but I see it as is a way to improve my drawings by stepping (no, bluntly falling) out of my comfort zone.

Here is the month’s prompt list that I need to work on. The first prompt category for five days is “Tavern”.

What does a DnD Tavern Bathroom Key look like? I chose to model mine after an old antique one, with a bronze gargoyle head. I practiced some dragons and a couple of keys.

I also bought another Pilot Croquis, the H version, which leaves no smudges and feels great sketching the lighter strokes.
